Individuals and communities both need to become more responsible health stewards in order to effectively serve all Americans with culturally appropriate efficient processes and consistent, quality outcomes.
For Communities: Stewardship requires an in-depth knowledge of how chronic disease, wellness, prevention, early detection and health disparities impact residential demographics and the how these themes can drive the business sustainability of care providers to support health services that meet community needs.
For Individuals:Stewardship is about belief systems, cultural and societal patterns and individual readiness for voice, control, choice and skills in self-care. An individual’s capacity for self-help impacts family, friends, caregivers and the community.
WorldDoc Foundation invites dialogue about these fundamental topics that link individual behaviors with community support, program development, business development, outcomes and impact.
