Garth Winkler
Foundation President and CEO

Garth is the force behind the WorldDoc Foundation. In addition to overseeing new client and product development, he ensures a seamless and worry-free implementation process for partners and clients. Backed by years of nonprofit and consulting experience, Garth offers expertise in everything from organizational development to community affairs as they relate to the private and nonprofit sectors.

Before joining WorldDoc, Garth served as president for Garth Garth & Associates. Clark County Health Access Consortium, Nevada Public Radio, Easter Seals of Nevada and WorldDoc, Inc. were among his clients. For more than 27 years, Garth served communities in Ohio and Nevada as a United Way professional. He spent 16 years as President and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada.

When he’s not fulfilling the mission of WorldDoc, Garth serves on the board of the Nevada Community Foundation. A 2000 graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Las Vegas program, Garth is dedicated to lifelong learning and extends his knowledge by instructing UNLV Continuing Education courses.

Garth holds two master’s degrees—one in urban affairs from the University of New Hampshire and another in public administration from UNLV. He earned his bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and holds a certificate in nonprofit management from the Harvard School of Business. In 1995, Garth was named NSFRE Professional Fundraiser of the Year and he is the UNLV School of Urban Affairs Alumnus of the Year, 2000.
