Through its partnerships, the WorldDoc Foundation has made WorldDoc Inc.’s products and services available to uninsured and at-risk populations. Partnerships have included Senior Centers, Family Resource Centers, Hospitals, and Health Access Coalitions. The WorldDoc Foundation has supported the formation and operation of a Community Health information Exchange (Healthy Ocala) and the creation of a program targeting high-risk low-income families to find and use community based medical homes as opposed to hospital ER resources. The WorldDoc Foundation seeks to engage, empower and inform consumers into taking personal responsibility for their and their family’s health and well being. We believe every individual has the power to transform health..and that every community has the power to transform individuals.
Effective July, 2011, the WorldDoc Foundation temporarily ceased normal operations while a new direction and consumer engagement strategy is developed. Current clients will continue to be supported by WorldDoc but no new partnerships are being accepted until the new plan is ready for implementation.
While the WorldDoc Foundation is rebuilding our capacity to serve, we welcome your thoughts and questions concerning how communities can effectively engage at-risk populations in living a healthier and more balanced life.
